A “Taste” of Virtua is Coming…and You Could Be Going For Free!

Another week, another contest!

This time around, we have the wonderful opportunity to give away two free tickets to attend the annual “Taste” of Virtua event that will take place on October 13 from 6PM to 9PM. For the past ten years, this food and wine event has been raising funds to help support The Virtua Foundation. The Virtua Foundation is the non-profit health system that raises funds for building improvements, community outreach and other initiatives. I suggest you take a look at the many different projects the Virtua Foundation is helping to move forward.

So…what kind of food can you expect at The “Taste” of Virtua? Does SJ Hot Chefs level of quality work for you? Great – because that’s what you’re going to get. Local wine shop Kress Wine from Cherry Hill be providing the vino, and Kramer Beverage out of Hammonton will be in charge of the beer selection. Kramer includes in its distribution Ommegang, Yuengling, Great Lakes, Brooklyn, and Duvel – not a bad group from which to choose.

The location for this year’s event is a little different. While you enjoy the sumptuous food and drink, enjoy the surroundings of luxury at Holman BMW of Mount Laurel. And before you even ask…no, I don’t think they will let you eat inside any of the cars. Just a guess on my part.

How do you enter the contest? As with the LBI Chowderfest contest, please leave a comment at the end of this post or on our Facebook page. The contest will run through October 10, so you have a week to enter. The winner will be announced on October 11 on our site. So come on and enter – and show support for a great organization doing good work right here in South Jersey.

About John Howard-Fusco

John Howard-Fusco started eating at a very young age, and hasn't stopped since. In between bites he managed to: finish high school in Willingboro (his hometown), graduate from Stern School of Business at NYU, work in financial services for 15 years, get married and have two beautiful children. Suddenly, it dawned on him that maybe he could write about all this eating business. And so he did, and so he does.
